What our health guarantee covers
Every puppy comes with a one-year genetic health guarantee against life-threatening hereditary or congenital conditions. Its a written agreement between the breeder and the buyer. It explains what is covered, the steps to follow if a covered condition is identified, and the assistance available. Its purpose is to provide reassurance and clear expectations as your puppy joins your family.

- An early veterinary visit: A full examination by a licensed, independent veterinarian is required within 72 hours of receiving your puppy.
- A documented review process: Claims require veterinary documentation and purchase records, as outlined in the agreement.
- Refund or replacement options: For qualifying claims, the agreement provides for a refund of the purchase price, including applicable tax, or a replacement puppy of equal value if available, subject to its terms.
Trupanion insurance
Trupanion pet insurance helps with eligible veterinary treatment costs for unexpected illnesses and injuries. It can cover up to 90% of eligible treatment costs, subject to the applicable deductible, policy terms, and exclusions.
Each puppy comes with an offer for 30 days of Trupanion coverage at no upfront cost, subject to the offer’s eligibility and activation requirements. Activation is required within 24 hours of bringing your puppy home. Continuing insurance beyond the introductory period requires a paid policy.
Insurance is optional. Choosing whether to activate or continue Trupanion coverage does not affect the validity of our health guarantee.
